I could totally see the Canes winning the Metro. I’m not sold on Mrazek in the least, but the defense is very good. They certainly have the firepower.

With the division in flux, why not the Canes

As for the Isles, yeah, the goaltending they got last year from those guys was an aberration. Don’t expect it again. I think they miss the playoffs.

I think Barzal alone will drag that team out of the basement at worst.

Yeah I don't think predicting the Canes to win is bold at all, they should be the establishment pick to win the division, as they're very good and the rest of the division isn't too hot.

The Canes are very capable of winning the metro, but by a wide margin? I doubt that's at all possible by ANY team in ANY division in today's NHL.

The Isles will regress, but there's nothing to say they'll regress that far.

GO PENS !! Sid is as good as he's ever been, Geno will have a bounce-back season, and Letang might actually play within the system (ok, maybe not), and Murray is still a great goalie.
